Designer purses and handbags can be an expensive habit. One solution that people sometimes choose is looking for knock off handbags or even counterfeit merchandise. Often times, you get what you pay for when you buy these cheap purses. I’m here to tell you that you do not have to settle for inferior quality if you know how to find the real deal purses and handbags at discounted prices.
I went through a period when I sold quite a bit of merchandise on eBay. I did this to subsidize my family’s income when times where a bit tight. Through a lot of trial and error, I actually got pretty good at it for a while. One of the most useful things I learned in that time was how to search out merchandise that was going to sell for a very low price and how to grab it.
When I was selling on eBay, I concentrated on older collectibles that I could find at estate sales. I never sold purses and handbags. If I had been able to build up a collection of designer purses, I certainly would not have wanted to part with them by selling them on eBay. Knock off purses served their purpose for me, but I would have rather owned an authentic designer bag.
One of my best finds on eBay was an authentic Coach purse that I was able to win for just ten bucks! I was looking up prices on some collectible items when I happened across the lost looking purse among the antiques. It had been listed in the incorrect category and was not getting any bids. The designer bag was also ending late at night on a Monday. That is a slow time on eBay for sales. Those two factors together allowed me to win the bag for an outrageously low price.
It turns out that there are several ways to sniff out the items that are incorrectly listed on eBay. I probably haven’t figured them all out yet, but I’ve gotten pretty good at it. Knock off purses are not something I buy anymore. They actually are usually more expensive than some of the authentic purses that slip through the cracks.
You can find hidden treasures like my Coach purse on eBay because most of the people doing the listing are just regular people like you and me. The majority of sellers are not professionals and sometimes they mess up. Once you have sharpened your skills, you will be able to sniff out the best items that have ended up in the wrong place or that will end at a terrible selling time. Getting yourself an authentic designer bag (or just about anything) at a cheap price will be a piece of cake!
